@Gadgie Thank you. We had a long talk with him about his attitude and worked everything out. He even gave me a real hug today(he's not into hugging and affection). I think this move will be the best thing for him. I definitely think he's ready. :)

Happiness has been a bit evasive here lately, but peer support is carrying the days. Thank God for mutual aid peer support! I don't have to carry it all in my own head or burden my spouse... to peers, it's shared experiences most often and not so much of a "problem" or burden.

My sister face timed me in tears if happiness, as the I/Pad that I bought for her, had arrived to her home in Holland, it only took two days to he there! (The last item she sent me, took ten days to arrive, and that was first class mail?)

Anyway, she was very pleased when she got it, and that made me happy. As I know that she has always wanted one, she admired my one when I was with her over Christmas.

Although she is not "techy minded" her daughter gave her Mum her old I/Phone recently, and she has managed to grasp the basics, so the I/Pad should come easier to her. I wanted to give her something special to make up for the years we lost in the past, and she has been a great support to me since we got back in touch.

My husband agreed to change the kitchen pendant light above the sink. So I found one on Wayfair that we both liked, but it was $68 for the finish I wanted. So I searched for the brand and found the brand site, which also happens to be an affiliate of Wayfair of all things. They had the light for $49 with free shipping!! Woo hoo! Bargain!

Also, I had a horrible health day! Of course that did not make me happy, but I mustered up enough strength so that I was able to attend my son's orchestra concert! That made him happy, which makes me very happy!

My father. He called spontaneously because he was close to my home and asked if it was okay to pay a visit. I haven't seen him since 6th of January, so of course! I got some cake and he stayed for an hour before he left. He still had to drive home. It made me happy that he cared to visit me even after all the business stuff he had to do around here.
