Yeah. I tried that. No dice. I made exactly 123 dollars too much to qualify. Good news is they didn't shut the power off yet (I floated an electronic check draft- something I hate doing) and I get paid tonight. Gonna take a few months to dig out of the hole, but I'll figure something out...

Even if it means bypassing the meter myself to get the power back on. Thanks USN for all that free engineering training!

Your area one of those call & get on a payment plan before things get shut off & no worries, they'll space it over the next 6-12mo (but once it's shut off, you have to pay half of what's owed -plus a $150 or w/e reconnect fee- before they'll payment plan you)?... Or one of those they won't do jack until after it's off, and then you can set up a plan?

He may be genuinely stressed, it IS his problem as well. Not what you want to hear maybe but not all men are assholes and many do care.
A normal man takes responsibility, unlike that darned unlucky copper coil you have there. It happens and really sucks you've had this happen.
