What Makes You Angry Today?

Anger is a good thing....it is the only thing that is keeping me alive at the moment.

Hey Billy

Don' let anger eat up the rest of your life man. It ain't easy. And I would never presume to think that I know what goes on with someone either. As long as you're alive there are possibilities. Always got a good ear for listening. Hope you're OK.

what makes me angry today and actually it fits this current trend of the thread... I am supposed to get an upper GI... I need someone to drive me there and take me home....

Ok Nichol leaves for work at like 5am and doesnt leave to come home sometimes till 6pm.. no way I am keeping my ass in that clinic that long.. because they wont let you leave the clinic without a driver...

Doc today was all up my ass (pun intended) about me not getting it done, I rescheduled 3 times... she said without the results she couldn't treat me anymore (as in refuse me care)... one thing about Anger it lets me speak my mind, I was very civil and asked her which part of town she lived in... of course it was close to med center... I said "well if you can come get me, or maybe your husband I will make sure to make the next scheduled appt for the GI...but until I get a ride it is a moot point..."

Of course this started the ranting again but I knew I drew first blood and that was enough...

What gets me is they won't let you have a cab take you home. They must think the cabbies are gonna roll us and kick us out in the desert. Hell, I know half the cabbies in this town and they're a great bunch of guys. Wouldn't think of ripping you off. They want return traffic.

Couldn't sleep last night, kept hearing stuff, and the dogs kept growling, of course the husbands gone to hunting camp so it's just me and the kids for two weeks, now I'm tired and feeling like crap, So what makes me angry is that I just can't go to sleep. Why the hell can't I be normal?

Tnkg1rl. Dogs are growling 'cos he's away and they are trying to make up for it. I tell you what to do. Sit up for one night only.
Get used to the pattern of sounds, when they happen, how loud they are, let the dogs see your (lack) of reaction.
Then on in, you'll know what's what as will the mutts. (and you'll be knackered enough for a subsequent good night's kip).

Thanks Ned, for the tips, bad thing is I have chronic fatigue so I'll try and see if I can do it, I gotta be up with the little one. He's been gone since Last Friday, so I'm not sure why last night was a big deal, however we do have some critters poking around I just finished cutting up my sons deer so I'm sure the coyotes can smell it.

I am also super stressed. The VAMC called today asking me about my experience at the new VA (we just moved), and how much everyone likes the psychiatrist, (I think he's an ass), I have no time for some little prick talking down to me like he thinks he's cute, also she mentioned that the class of medications they were trying SSRI's aren't working (no shit) because I'm missing an enzyme or whatever and they were interested in trying Valium. (No Way In Hell....) So that went well. Make me a zombie why don't you.
Then.....yes theres more.... I'm trying to call Veterans Affairs cause I haven't gotten education benefits since July, while I'm hold waiting for a case manager because the customer service person had no clue what the hell they were doing, she gets on and hangs up. I'm so f*&*ing angry right now, I can't even think straight, so rather than destroy some stuff I'm ranting. Getting done over eight different ways til Sunday today.

Tnkg1rl -- just like entering the ARMY -- welcome to the "big green machine". Bureaucratic f*ck-ups abound! Don't give up soldier!

Hey Tnkg1rl

It's always the same with the VA. Wish I could say different, but I can't. If you're lucky enough to get a couple of people that are good, efficient and caring in all of your dealing with them, consider yourself fortunate. You've just got to be a bulldog about everything. Try to start out nice but if you don't get what you need go to the next level. I kind of mean that in two ways; one find out who the persons boss is that's not doing what you need and talk to them or two, a personal favorite, raise the volumn of your voice. One of those will get you some attention. And as always best of luck and don't let it make you too crazy.

Thanks Sarg and Jar. This ain't nothing special

Truck got stolen, but Good news I got it back..Not too much damage. Stole my Iphone...maybe next month I can save enough money to replace it.

Cops know who stole the truck but say it is too much paperwork, and they have him on some other charge.

Well, that sucks! No wonder you're angry. Right, too much paperwork. The whole world is upside down.

Hey Combat

The VA has an online application called; myhealthyvet. It's a good way to access your lab work. I get labs done on a regular basis and about a week after having them done they are updated to myhealthyvet account. You want to get the upgraded version so you'll have to go to your local VA, in person to apply. It, like all things, may take a little while to get up and running for you but once it does it's the best and easiest way to access your medical tests and info. It is by far the best online application that the VA supports.

If you go to their home page it should be in the right hand column in a list of things that you can sign up for. I can't believe I'm saying this; but I'd actually recommend it. Ouch, that did hurt just a little bit.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Jar
It is also a good way to reorder your medications and look at your meds history. If you like you can reply to them if you need help.
