On the surface, yes. No one got hurt. But this was a very unusual incident in that it attracted a great deal of news coverage and all the "militant" groups got fired up. The way it usually happens, there's no publicity at all and they sneak it through without anyone noticing. Right now, the National forest that surrounds our town is sneaking through a "EIS" on eliminating shooting any where on the forest.

They don't advertise in the paper, put up notices, it's all done underhandedly. Then suddenly, the forest road that you loved to drive is now blocked with boulders and a sign saying "No off road travel". I think folks are starting to react to a heavy handed government. Locally here, folks are starting to quietly ignore all these obstructions put up by the feds.

I'd like to see it ramp up. In my opinion, our government is out of control and needs to be reined in considerably.

Was the same here in 2000 with the way they handled foot & mouth. Cack-handed and wrong action by a totally ignorant government. And we had a similar kick-back this year with the flooding of the Somerset Levels, people are finally realising that they sometimes know better than their 'betters'.

There are a lot of software out there to help you do just that. If you already have one, then you're set. That's a nice project. If you don't I'd suggest something like either photoshop elements or photoshop lightroom. You can try them for free for a month. Just google adobe photoshop and they'll come up. You don't need a really expensive software to do that. Love the desert but live in Pennsy. :eek: Go figure.

Those are both great apps for what you want to do. I understand the cash flow problems. Check out www.newegg.com, they're a great tech site and have some real bargains from time to time.
