Gorgeous pups! We rescued two standard Poodles to help cut down on the dander for the wife's allergy. They're smart as hell and are great with the kids. Kinda funny, the bitch has PTSD also and we sometimes hypervig each other out.

Thanks Spock. The pups have been good for me. The husky/sheppard is my baby. My wife was joking around with me yesterday and my girl almost went after her. She's really super protective when I'm not ok, or she thinks I'm not doing well.

4 years ago l got away from the Army as quickly as i could; in what can almost be labelled as desperation, got into university and studied social work. The funding for the course was a big influence otherwise, I would be driving a forklift in a yard somewhere.

today i finished that degree and can say the hardest aspect has been the transition from military Life, working with petty idiots and not being allowed to tell them that. Most importantly, I've literally been a working case study the whole time, for the academic research.

Time to regroup with my little tribe at home and try to work somewhere at some point.

part of me just wants to train as a builder and see out my days that way instead.

Making an O-2 do what they said they were going to do, no matter how rediculous they may look. Had an O-2 when a 5k this morning (good job), that then mouthed off to an E-9 telling them that they were going to wear the medal all day. After I learned of this the O-2 had to present to the E-9 in uniform and the medal around their neck and then go show the CO who just happened to by on the Quarter Deck. I reminded the O-2 of their duty of Honor, Courage and Commitment. Either ball up or shut up...... They will think twice before opening their mouths again.
