So I realized something in my therapy appointment yesterday. I have improved quite a bit in the last several months so what makes me happy today is as weird as it feels to say but I make myself happy today. Life hasn't been getting easier if anything it's been sucking more and more but I have been talking to myself about stuff and talking myself through stuff and now I feel as though I'm handling things a lot better. At least for know *knocks on wood*

I finally got the car out of our driveway, with the help of a couple of Brothers I didn't know. Alright, so a couple of devil dogs helped this old army dog out of a jam. Isn't the first time, and probably won't be the last. Semper Fi!

I actually had fun at the VA today because there was a romance novel sitting around in the waiting room. The title, premise, and cover sparked a lot of laughter. The VA near me is littered with trashy romance novels and bodice-rippers (some of which I have even brought home to read and then returned to the waiting rooms upon my following visit, but shush). I'm not sure if that's the norm or if that's a quirk unique to my area.

This one was especially entertaining. It was published in 2004. That hairdo stopped being okay in 1986.

It may sound weird but with our three year old it works... but he is potty trained!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he's pooping and peeing in the toilet and letting us know when he needs to go instead of just hiding and peeing or pooping or both in his pants. After telling him how super happy it made us when he used the toilet finally clicked in his head, but I guess he's cursed with things taking a while to sink in his head like it is for me....
