What Would You Wish For?

I wish for relief. I wish I felt happy again. I wish I felt connected to people again.

I wish what BlackbirdRising wishes for and also to feel connected to myself for the first time in my life.

I wish for a ride to the Post Office so that I can pick up my Christmas gifts waiting there for me! I got one of those yellow cards in my P.O. Box telling me they are waiting there for me! But it is raining and I have no car. My friend Shirley said to call her if I ever need a ride. Well! today may be the first time I take her up on that!!! It is now 9:30 in the morning Chritsmas Eve and the P. O. closes at 4:00 this afternoon, if I recall. Lord! Please have Shirley call me, I don't want to wake her if she is still sleeping!!!

I wish for peace and happiness for all of us. I wish for healing for us all as well

I wish my children be happy and healthy and have a good Christmas with all those they love.

Wishing loneliness would be a thing of the past. That there would be no lonely people. That they would have someone to share the holidays with.

Gizmo, I got bold and asked my pastor if he knew of a family that might take a widow in for Christmas Dinner and he said, with a twinkle in his eye, that he just might know of one. I asked him how soon he thought he might know, and he said, "I know right now. You are invited to spend Christmas dinner with our family". And so he will pick me up sometime around noon today. I painted a little painting for him and his wife as a gift. Also, I must admit that I cried when he told me!

That time would pass quickly for us to go to my daughters house. I am so excited. We still have to load up the car.
