We play alot of board games here. Especially through the winter. Monopoly, clue, life, and we especially like yahtzee. Every month my family has game night where we go to another person's home for drinks, snacks and poker. Aunts', cousins, siblings and my Dad all have a blast.
Last summer we were up north at my sisters cabin and one night we all played hide and seek. My siblings and their children (25 year olds) and their friends had such a great time. We played for hours and we ALL laughed like school kids! And we look forward to playing again this year. I recommend it to all of you. Have fun!

I love word games. My favorite is Boggle and there used to be good version on this one website which doesn't exist any more. They had different boards of the game too all the way from a 4 X 4 to a 10 X 10.

I currently play on a website, serpentinegame.com , and they have board sizes from 4 X 4 to 8 X 8. I love the biggest board because it's a challenge to play. Each word has to be six or more letters. You're playing against anywhere from one other person to ten or more. There's a point system which ranks you by how many games you've played and how many words you've played during a single game. If you've played a word before and you don't get on another board, it counts against you. Also other players who have a lesser standing than you can cause your score to go down. Whereas players with higher scores enable you to achieve higher scores especially if you play better than them.

Another favorite game, well, more a past time, is jigsaw puzzles. Right now I have to use my computer to play with jigsaw puzzle. The puzzles are designed by David P. Gray and called Jigsaws Galore. It's for Mac and Win. However, only one person can play at a time.

My last favorite game is solitaire of any kind, though my loves are Creepy Crawly and Spider and Klondike. I play through a game on my iPhone which ranks me against other players. I got 50 solitaire games at once. It's called Soledon.

I used to play loads of games with my granddaughter when she was younger. We played cards and board games. She's got her teenage friends for that now.

My husband doesn't like board, card, or word games. After we remodel our kitchen, I hope to get him interested in putting together "live" jigsaw puzzles.

My Psychiatrist told me that word games help to improve memory. I am Dyslexic and have trouble spelling and such, so I try to keep it simple. Right now, I have 4 WORDS WITH FRIENDS games going on, on FB. My Therapist even plays the game with me, I think because I told her what my Psychiatrist told me and because I have really been losing my memory and need help! Like I cannot even remember what I ate for breakfast this morning. I have to have alarms on my phone to remind me to take my meds and stuff like that. I don't know if the word games are helping any or not, as I have only been playing them for about 3 weeks now. But I am willing to try anything, because losing my memory is driving me crazy!

I love RPGs - as in around a table with other players IRL, dice and character sheets. My favorite universe so far is World of Darkness, and I really enjoy the campaign of Werewolf: The Awakening I have been on for the past six months or so. There are so many possibilities from creating a character to actually playing and steering it where you want it to go, and there are a lot of things to learn from the character itself and interacting with other players or characters. I mean, my first campaign helped me be more confident while playing a leader.

My favorite PC game would be a tie between Guild Wars 2 and Neverwinter - the two being also RPGs, the second straight from the D&D universe.

I don't have one favorite board game but I have absolutely loved 7 Wonders - a strategy game, Rigor Mortis - where you basically have to explain to your boss the Dark Lord why you have failed him by putting the blame on someone else, some excuses are just amazing, and Cranium.

As for mobile games, I would have to go for Clash of Clans or Clash Royale, which are all about strategy.

I have a deep and abiding live of Monopoly.
Mtlr won't play it with me because he spends most of the time in jail

Used to LOVE PC games, mainly strategy and simulations

The Sims
Civilisation
The Settlers
Tropico
Sim City
Theme Hospital

With a tech gadget nerd Dad we grew up with PC's from a young age. I can remember a game that involved trading and flying a docking space ships. I was good at the trading and but never once succeeded in docking the spacecraft...
