Relationship When Do You Just Give Up?

Thank you both of you! I know it will be a hard road and I want him to go for treatment for it. He deserves to have a happy life.

I have a feeling that my relationship with the ex with combat ptsd is over however I still can't keep from hoping that we will be getting back together to work on things.

I want to contact him to get my stuff back and to give his stuff back. If I contact him, I am afraid of the rejection of him not responding.

I did end up texting him....he responded a few times but they are short and brief.

I didn't get a chance to ask him when he wanted to exchange stuff.
