I just need to let this out
Today is my birthday. Last year you took me out for wings in the morning. Even though we were having problems, you showed up. In the evening you were there for my birthday party. I was upset because you didn't do anything "special" for me, as the year before you had given me a beautiful necklace, splurged on a hotel room and wrote me a beautiful poem.
We were having problems then, but you were still around. Little did I know this year, I would be begging to even just hear from you.
If you were still here, I would want to spend it with you, watching movies on the couch and making hot chocolate and baileys. Or coffee and baileys for you.
Thats what matters to me now. Just being around you and being loved and seen by you. I miss those little moments. I miss you.
