Oh Dear
@ladee , you're a SSH-Super Sweet Human !! :inlove: :hug:
I do think pain can make us bitter, or sweet-er. (Apparently so can middle age however!)
This is really cool: I rarely have hope, but sometimes I have joy.. we can figure it out/ compare notes together. Maybe we can fill in each other's 'holes'? I do know that joy comes from happiness + surprise, & hope is a weak word in English, it means more like (faithful) expectation.
I was told today to 'try to/ (try it)' transform heartbreak in to joy, so I did. (Since heartbroken is my baseline, without sounding ridiculous about it that is so- seriously). But anyway, I did. :)
Also I decided to give my sister a birthday celebration tonight, 2 weeks early, but it accomplishes a) add some joy b) I don't like to wait and c) she doesn't like to wait. Lol. So why not. :) (Won't derail your thread, but was going to say nothing goes better with a sliver of cake than a bottle of wine, lol. ) Seriously though, maybe it's different than 'letting it go', though I'm not sure how to transform 'it', exactly. Do you have any ideas? (The gossamer ribbons and star(s) seem to suggest so. :) :tup: :hug: )
