Why Did You Choose That Username And/Or That Avatar (Or No Avatar At All)?

My name comes from a Beyoncé song off her "I am... Sasha Fierce" album. That album got me thru a tough time! I feel the need to clarify that I am NOT lonely... I'm scared that one day I will be 'cuz these days it seems like more people walk out of my life rather than in it!

As for my goldfish avatar... I just like it.

scaredoflonely, I think I should go for an eye test - with my fuzzy eyes, I thought the goldfish avatar was a gnome

The meadow is a comfort place in my mind. But meadow is a name already used on another site, so meadowsweet was my alternative. I think it is a type of flower. My avatar is a photo I took in the summer, and its just hopeful.

Mrs. T. My last name is significantly long and most people can't pronounce it. So I often tell people to just say "(first name) T". Also, when I was little I wanted to marry MC Hammer or Mr T, simply because I thought it would be cool to be called Mrs. Hammer or Mrs. T. So I got lucky and found a "Mr. T" that I fell in love with :).

My reasons are not deep, but that's my reason.

I've been searching for days to find this picture.

It's taken at the end of a four day walk along the Peddars Way.
The stone is part of an Arts project and says " And I being here have been part of all this. Caught and thrown like sun on water, have entered in to all around "

Even when I'm in the utmost turmoil, it helps me to know that I have roots that spread wider and deeper than just my traumatising birth family.

"As you walk the Peddars Way you find yourself becoming more and more aware of all the others who have trodden the same ground, whether they be Stone Age hunters, Roman soldiers, Saxon settlers or Medieval pilgrims.
But remember that you, walking in your time, are as much a part of everything that surrounds you as any other traveller has been.
All the past that has led to your moment in time is held like a great secret in the landscape that surrounds you.” ( Hugh Lupton, story teller )

I don't currently have an emotional place of belonging, I feel shut shut out from everywhere and everyone. But I am still a phsysical part of of my landscape, and can't be severed from it.

I nearly chose a giant schnauzer as mine - my late Cassie-Tassel was a schnauzer cross and she was all the things I'd like to be - independent-minded, funny, strong, blessed with a cast-iron digestion, always there and reliable in a crisis...
Not sure I'd go for the constant moulting though

Ever see the movie Gremlins? Gizmo was the Moguaii, that the father got for his son at christmas time. He was cute and sweet and sang cheeful songs and was full of courage. But if you fed him after midnight, or got him wet then all the little gremlins would pop out of him. Talk about splitting.lol:roflmao:

My avator is a computer painting called sunrise that my oldest granddaughter did for me. I know this is an old thread but I read the whole thing and it was fun.
