Hi Larry,
You're coming onto this forum and advertising yourself / the technique you use. Your not coming on here with actual provable facts outlining a cure. The evidence is already posted around this forum, the science is currently still in place, that no cure exists for post traumatic stress disorder. Treatment and cure are two very different things. The psychiatric community agrees as a majority with the evidence based science of the brain... no actual cure exists. They can treat the stigma of the trauma, negative emotional distress can be removed from past trauma... but none of this is a cure for the actual physiological change that takes place between the right and left brain hemispheres.
You're coming on this forum to market a technique / yourself. Do you honestly think that this forum is not already aware of every technique in the field? One technique is not a solution or cure to PTSD because you say it is. Science has the facts, not you, I or another person here. This forum is not based on the typical nonsense that other forums may allow... being misinformation. We outline the facts. As the facts change or new developments occur, then we outline them. To date... still no cure actually exists. Right now, the current focus is upon brain cell regrowth which may present a possible future cure for many mental health issues, though again, they don't have the full facts on whether it provides a majority result to state a cure. Still in development, and far surpassing your technique that you try and market.
How you approach this forum is everything, as to whether you get banned or not. Try and market yourself / a technique, you get banned. Discuss it, answer questions and don't come on here in an attacking method, and everything will be fine. My sister-in-law went and did a few week course on brain retraining, a type of hypnotherapy / turning negative behaviours to positive, blah blah blah. Literally a few weeks and she got a certificate, then thought she was going to change the world with this life coaching technique / trauma skill. The only thing she discovered was that she wasted more money on total nonsense because she thought she could just change a rape victims trauma in a few sessions if she followed this outline. All total nonsense and a scam at best, as the only people making money are the trainers from the suckers taking such courses.
More studies are now finding that the DSM is wrong with time based assessment. The symptoms of post traumatic stress more often than not surpass the theoretical timelines for diagnosis, yet PTSD actually isn't present, only ASD. When people seek help, they get a half arsed diagnosis of PTSD when they actually have ASD, then seek professional help and come out absolutely fine. That is the exact and expected result of ASD, as it is completely curable, in the sense that treatment removes all issues. PTSD... absolute, scientifically proven, not the case.
Please outline your science based facts with credible references, as has already been outlined here over the years about the fact PTSD is not curable. A website endorsing your technique is not credible. I am talking mental health journals. I am not talking about the effectiveness of a technique either... as I do not dismiss that many techniques are very effective for the treatment of trauma, as this is fact. They do not cure PTSD though, again fact. Please provide such evidence before attempting to argue the promotion of your technique.
This forum is nearly 5 years online, and we've heard it all. Your not going to introduce anything new... just do a search and you will find your technique here already. Again, discussion is one thing, pushing / marketing yourself or a technique is another for self gain / purpose. Not acceptable here as this is a community, not a promotional tool.
