Windows 7 Anyone?

I actually like it too. Yup, it's a lot faster, at start up, shut down, programs loading and such. Like Anthony, I don't like the fact that it doesn't support a lot of the programs, and stuff. My only other rant, would be that for a few sites I frequent,(like the forum) it refuses to hold my password, and I have to retype it every stinking time. Even if I check remember me.

Other than that it seems a lot better. I read online that Windows 8 is due out in 1012........Not sure if I want to go that route quite yet!!!!!! LOL!!!!!

The nerd (:kiss:) sitting beside me says he is able to have passwords remembered so it is a browser issue. I had trouble with Firefox the other day and had to uninstall it 3 times for it to work and had to completly remove saved passwords and everything to get the glitches out I was having with sites like the forum.

Ok, so it's a lot faster, but does not support the same programs that Vista does not support. Does it work with patches as Vista? If so, then maybe I can handle it. What happened to the shell they said they were going to have so that you could open programs like Photoshop, Wacom, video conferencing, and Nuance without worrying about compatibility?

If you buy the professional or ultimate version, it comes with an XP mode, so you can run XP supported software. It supports everything Vista standard.

Thanks Nicolette for the advice.....Anthony, too bad no one mentioned this when I bought my computer........I'm just glad that I don't use it for a lot of other stuff. The email problem was bad enough, as I HATE Window Live Essential email program. I am getting used to Thunderbird now.......

My only question... WHY do they have to fix things(email) when they are NOT broken????? If they were worried about security problems, then why not just fix those issues, instead of changing the entire programs???? I just don't get it.....Can you tell, I am not a big fan of change????

Because those email clients were shit... absolute total garbage that could not cope with spam and the like nowadays. They had more security issues than it was worth. Online mail is a far superior method, as the majority of users want their email where they go, not on one system, so they go with the majority and cease having to develop another piece of software.

Ok, but I had no issues with spam at all with them. What I didn't want I marked as spam, and it never made it into my inbox.....
