A man who repeatedly raped his 12-year-old daughter had been sentenced to a mere 60 days in jail.

Why?

According to {judge} McKeon, the law allows those arrested for incest involving someone under 12 years old to avoid prison if a psychosexual evaluation finds that psychiatric treatment “affords a better opportunity for rehabilitation of the offender and for the ultimate protection of the victim and society.”

This article was bad enough until I read that the mother who walked in on her little girl being raped. as well as the victim's grandmother both wrote letters to the judge blaming the girl and how horrible it would be for the victim's brothers not to have their dad around.

The victim’s mother, who walked in on the man sexually abusing her daughter, wrote that the man’s two sons love him and she wanted his “children have an opportunity to heal the relationship with their father,” according to McKeon.

I seriously want to bitch slap the mother over and over. I have been in that poor little girl's shoes where the family sticks up for the rapist instead of the victim and it infuriates me. That guy is going to get out in a little over a month and come home to terrorise his daughter again. :mad::poop:
What the f*ck is wrong with people. I hope and pray that CPS has intervened. The Grandmother, Mother and especially not the father do not deserve to have her in their lives. As far as I am concerned the Judge needs to be hung right by the father.

McKeon, who has served as a Montana state judge for 22 years, is retiring next month, according to the Associated Press. Considering that an impeachment in Montana, according to the National Center for State Courts, requires a “two-thirds vote of the house of representatives and [a] convict[ion] by a two-thirds vote of the senate,” the point is fairly moot — there simply isn’t enough time to impeach him.

@missy meier Yes, I knew that he was retiring... But if you read the article, the wording in it suggest that if he's impeached, then he doesn't get to collect $$. Not, sure but that was my take on it. IDK, the whole thing just pisses me off. Wonder how he'd feel if he was raped repeatedly????? Wonder if he'd allow his rapist to get off with a slap on the wrist???.

Horrid, just horrid to know that this goes on. But it does not surprise me anymore: I have been severely abused by a father, stalkers, so called friends: and in every instance women have turned against me.

There is this deep dark spot in the brains of those females: regardless of how old you are: if you as a female garner any kind of attention, no matter how abusive it is, that dark spot in the brains of those females reacts with jealousy.

As ridiculous as that sounds: I know neighbors and friends of my father who are jealous of me because I was abused by him: they not only denied it but demanded for me to spend the rest of my life to take care of that miserable bastard.
An abusive ex husband who has his current wife, mommy dear and sister and brothers, AND their kids swearing that he is the best thing since sliced bread, now are actually interfering with my life because he made stupid choices, not my fault.
Aaaaaand the stalker who thought that he could have me simply because he felt like it, and his friends who have all helped him to stalk me and who harass me to this day....... it used to be a case of a male stalker, I never thought that young and old females who worked at the same place, who only heard of the case, could possibly be so enraged and jealous of me receiving such abusive attention from a male.

It happens so many times that there is nooooooooooooooooo way in hell that any female would ever, ever, ever, ever get close to me, not as an aquaintance, certainly not as a friend.

A relative that really cares about this girl would take the poor little victim right now and get the hell out of town, move the girl away for her never to have to see that monster again....

There are prostitutes that live here in my town and I have found out that they do that to their kids too, sending their kids off with total strangers, with males who these women barely know, because they do not want to take care of their own children.

I just wanted to add to this -- I work for a huge U.S. publication and just noticed this morning that we didn't even cover this. Why? Because the elections are completely dominating our coverage. So instead of having a headline about this, we have headlines about all of Trump's stupid comments. I was horrified that we didn't cover this. i did write up a small report on this earlier today and messaged the editors with a suggestion that someone write a longer piece on it. Hopefully they will. It really is sad when things like this get overlooked for mostly meaningless elections coverage.
