Yay! It's Spring

FINALLY winter is over.

I love flowers and fresh air. What's your favorite Spring thing?

My favorite time of year is late spring/early summer.

My favorite spring thing is visiting nice communities on the coast of Maine, United States, in part, because I can see the beautiful coast before the summer tourists arrive and cause a lot of congestion on the roads.

We get some tourism here in North Carolina, but most of it is on the coast. I live in the mountains, the other end of our beautiful state. I love seeing the flocks of birds returning, which there were some large ones today.

 

[Tornadic Thoughts]

Warmth, more birds, the bees, the smells, more time in the sun (when it isn't being totally covered by chem clouds), the greenage returning, the pop of colors with the flowers blooming and trees budding, and the chance to forage for and purposely plant lots of nurturing foods.

Being able to nurture so many little living things and watching them grow and produce things that in turn healthily nurture us is pretty f'n magical, even if it's just sprouting some beans in a jar or growing some microgreens indoors, as it gives me something to look forward to each day. Grow, babies, grow!

Yay to spring! Tulips are my favorite thing about spring.

There's these trees called Red Buds and I love seeing their buds in with the greens of Spring budding.
