Yoga has been something that floated around in my head as something good for stress and health (circulation, flexibility, etc). However, I've only ever tried it once, and while I liked it, I didn't really know about resources to help me continue.

Recently, I've developed a bad case of tendonitis. I've had minor flare ups over the years most likely due to learning violin with bad form, which I've fixed. Unfortunately, my work involves a lot of cleaning, so my tendonitis has gotten worse in my right wrist and elbow. I also have a lot of tension in my shoulders and back from anxiety, so I figure yoga would help with that too.

Problem is, I don't have any money to spare for food, so forget classes. Does anyone know some online sources, or even books for yoga?

LittleL, I do have major physical issues. I have tried yoga past months. I end up very tired. So I am thinking to go slowly. Choose another light physical exercise. Yoga is powerful. 10x powerful than walking outside.

I search online and try to understand. Do self body talk to understand and go ahead carefully.

I know we have money issues, so we can't afford classes. You can go ahead on your own. But I want to tell you, be very careful. Refer to things as many times as you can. Seek for proper understanding and good support.

Good luck

I cycle a lot, so the physical exertion isn't something I'm too worried about. My partner is going to do yoga with me, so I'm sure we can keep an eye on each others form. :)

Self body talk?

Almost everything is online nowadays. That's how I am relearning how to crochet. Couldn't afford a book. Sometimes stores have cheap videos(cheap in comparison to classes). Like Jaret says just be careful. Like the classes, you just have to make sure the instructor is a good instructor, otherwise you could get hurt.

I'm thinking of getting a pilates dvd or finding it online. Finding it online is an idea that occurred to me after your posting the above.
