Zoloft Withdrawal

I'm on 50mg of Zoloft and I must say, I've been very forgetful in taking them regularly (mostly because I don't find they work at all for me anyways). I forgot about them for a week due to my late night work schedule, and ended up having intense diarrhea and vomiting. I thought it was the flu.

I started taking them again recently, but forgot about them again for 2-3 days. Tonight I had more diarrhea. I was wondering if it might be Zoloft withdrawal related or not if I went from 50mg for a long time to completely stopping them for a few days to a week?

Does anyone know or has had this experience?

I dont know. It is probably best to call your prescriber. I just know my prescriber has always suggested I taper off slowly, whether I thought a med was helping me or not.
Take care.

When I first started to take sertraline I had a very upset stomach and I noticed when it was increased it happened again. I am also very forgetful and if I don't take for a couple of days I get withdrawal symptoms. I mostly really feel not like myself and jittery. I'm not 100% sure if they help or if it's just that you feel so much worse when you forget to take them. I'm on 200mg btw I keep them next to my tooth brush so I take them before I brush my teeth.

I know that there hasn't been anything posted on this thread for a while but I was wondering when you guys say a couple days how many days if you remember? I ask because on Saturday I forgot to take my meds but on Sunday I remembered and yesterday I forgot but I remembered today, and I have noticed that today I just feel angry and pissed off at anything and everything. My supervisor has been a little annoying which I can understand me being frustrated with her but it's feels like this anger has swallowed me whole and if somebody looks at me wrong I have to stop myself from saying something mean and nasty.

50mg did nothing for me, I am on 150mg a day and I keep them next to the bed so it's the first thing I do every morning, I work night shift and often long hours, Zoloft has been life changing for me, I also use Diasapam 5mg on top of zoloft on bad days, see you doctor if they are not working.
