@The Albatross - I agree that all "fact check" organizations are suspect to potentially be biased and less than factual. That's why I included other sources for the Donald Trump quote, which is supported by many, many sources to be an accurate quote of what Trumo said.

We have to remember to separate opinion from fact, and even if the opinions and bias on that one website are inaccurate, the fact that Donald Trump said that appears to be as true as anything else good or bad about him or anyone else can be proven because of the endless other sources that give evidence that yes, Trump did say that.

Okay, I do like Gary Johnson. Is he a pacifist? I realize that I have so much catching up to do. I like that he would do away with the IRS among other things, smaller government and a few other things, but I think it really comes down to Hillary or Trump in the end. Both equally bad and shady and so many other swear words.

He is the only one that would end the war on drugs. Which I believe is a good thing.

But he would split the ticket and so far Clinton is leading ahead of Trump. I do not like the Clintons at all and I think she has already said, and I wish I could remember the source, but she would put Bill in control of part of the presidency. Just as she was with him.

She has the womens issues and the black vote for the most part.

After being so disillusioned by Obama and I did vote for him, much to my chagrin, he is a total fail and has divided this country as opposed to uniting it.

My mind is not ready for eight more years of the Clintons at all. I guess I will have to be undecided until it is time to vote.

@Anarchy around here, FDR did some good things. He was dealing with an emergency. Those private investors lost a lot of what they might have invested in the stock market crash. In my state, we are still using buildings that were built by the WPA and I regularly drive over a couple bridges they built. People needed to eat. He felt it was better they work than get a handout. I think he was right. I'd sooner see a WPA type program than just handing out checks, or letting people go hungry. But, I kind of think what really ended to depression was WWII and I'm not sure THAT is something anyone wants to repeat. (None of us regular folk anyway.)

I'm not quite sure it's fair to give him all the credit for not accomplishing what he set out to do, or dividing the country. I think he had a lot of help from across the aisle. It's kind of my impression that there were some in the Republican Party who decided what ever he proposed, they were going to oppose, no matter what it was. The group who decided compromise is a dirty word. There are so many different takes on everything, the only way to accomplish anything is through compromise and cooperation. Having said that, I was disappointed in him too. I was hoping he'd do a better job of leading than he did.

I am so confused because one thing really troubles me, two men who I highly respect Larry Elder talk show host and Rudy Guiliani both support Trump very highly. Something is not adding up and I guess I will have to just be patient and follow along and wait and see.

Rudy Guiliani both support Trump

I watched an interview with Rudy Giuliani, and he talked about his friendship with Donald Trump, and the man he knows on a personal level. He had very positive things regarding his compassion for others and his being an honest man.

I think when it comes to Trump, or for that matter Hilary, we need to realize how distorted the lens of the media has become.

The press had utterly failed in the sacred trust that was put in them by the founding fathers. They, the press, are no longer the unbiased, entity that the founding fathers trusted to keep politicians honest. And unfortunately we cannot trust them to give us an accurate picture of either one of the caniditates

I used it as an example of both of the Clintons being un flappable to a degree that is (IMO) well beyond the range that we see amongst people who have a conscience.

And now we she that the leadership of the Democratic party colluded to keep Bernie Sanders from winning the nomination of the party. A few things about this:
1. This is political corruption designed at denying the voters their rights of one voice one vote.
2. Although Debbie Wazterman Schultz was caught red-handed being politically corrupt, Hilary has hired her to work for her campaign.

Hilary has denied any involvement in this situation, and has denied any knowledge about it. What will you think if these statements are found out to be incorrect?
