so I had a panic attack at school this morning-- this has happened before, but this time it would just NOT stop. I wasn't crying, just hyperventilating but I could not get back to normal. My hands were seizing up (again, not really the first time), but I just thought I was going to collapse and die after a while.
Anyways, I went to the nearest teacher (I've talked to him before, he knows me and I trust him) and since I couldn't talk he took me to the nurse. Even though he had a class to teach he stayed with me till I was pretty much back to normal. At the time social norms were not crossing my mind at all, I just needed it to stop.
However, now that I have gone through the rest of the day, I realize that that was super embarrassing. Like I am 18 and got a teacher who had a class in 5 minutes because I was having a panic attack.
Any suggestions for tomorrow? Do I just say, thank you and sorry? Do I pretend nothing happened?
Suggestions or commiserations would be appreciated :)
