It may sound sad but what makes me happy today is that I only have half an hour of work left before I can go home. It has been a long day and normally I would be at PT working out all the stress and craziness but it has been so busy I haven't had a chance to get out of the office. So going home has me happy/relieved.

What makes me smile today is the same as yesterday. Appreciating simple things, so it's I'm as whole as I am. Got into one of these funks of checking I got all four every morning and then rejoicing I indeed do. Childish I know, but helpful.

Hey J R wise decision. You may want to look into doing a tri-fuel conversion. It's a simple mod. It will allow you to run gasoline, propane or natural gas. Would give you plenty of options if the SHTF.

Good idea Grizz, LP would be my back up and as you know it stores 1000% better than gasoline......At full load this will burn 0.80 gals per hour, so 24 gals a day.....I do have 100 gal cert. gasoline fuel tank, I could use gas stab and fill the wife's van 25 gals. That should keep it fresh.....I think I will mount the 100 gal tank to a small cheap trailer.

What do you think the burn rate would be on LP??? I have 2 BarBQ tanks, 2 knee highs and the main 200 gal LP house tank.

On something like that size I'll do some calculations. But about a lb/hr. Or slightly less. @75% capacity. And the benefits are it will keep well like you said.

The only downside to LP is you don't get a hot burn than gas. Less BTU = less power out. But it's nice for redundancy. There are several youtube vids on the conversion. I have a 10k that will be my winter project.
