You need more intro than that. Where and with whom did you serve, that would be a good start. As well have you been diagnosed with ptsd, are you a combat vet.....fill in the blanks please. Welcome to the forum.

After researching your name it has come to my attention that this is the usual introduction that you provide. You appear to register on forums, leave a one sentence intro and read the members only posts to your hearts content. You are not a veteran therefore you are banned.

Maybe I am not the right person for this job. I saw a threat, assessed the enemy and squeezed the trigger, and after getting bumped these last few days my patience for bump and runs is lacking. I am out.

Jenny

The decision making process is one that we all learned and learned well during our time in the military. It's about making a decision. Second guessing yourself after is good as it means that you are assessing your own thoughts and abilities in regard to your position. I think that's what makes you a good person for this job. This is a tough job, no doubt about it. Someone will always be looking over our shoulders with an opinion. The last few days have been rough. You did the right thing in my opinion and made a good call.

Thanks jar, it's a judgement call and although I felt like it was the right thing to do at the time afterwards I questioned myself. A lot.

Honestly Jen Darlin`

Even if you were to ban say Me or Ned maybe Zip and loads of others, we wouldn`t hold it against you. Shit Anthony Banned me for a Month and I don`t hold it against him.

Once we have calmed down we can see the problem for what it is. Only Fakers Trolls and Tossers will make a deal out of it

And if you looking out for the forum you can count on us lot that have been here long enough to have your back.

As Granpa has said, Good Call.

You saw a threat, Checked the background, found it to confirm your Feelings and handled.

You get my vote (y)

Besides, even a New Vet, has generaly looked around the forum, read a few threads and knows what is expected in an Intro.

Hang in there Sister and stop getting your knickers in a twist ;)

You got excellent advice, Jenny, can't add a word. I too, am having difficulty "fitting" in to the responsibility. But then I've never done this sort of thing before. Then again, it a challenge. And I'll face a challenge. I may do well, or I could stumble, but I tried.

Sarg

If you didn't or don't take your responsibilities seriously than what's the point. We. luckily, don't have many problems here. Thank goodness.

I used to play a lot of online games. I was a server admin and forum admin as well. It just got to the point where all I was was a policeman. I didn't spend the time playing like I wanted to. Anymore online gaming is just a kids wanker fiesta. Hackers, flamers, just plain ole' jerky people. It just isn't fun anymore. So I stopped doing that. I still enjoy gaming but just on my pc, that's it. So, what I'm saying is I've been there and truly don't think it will ever get like that here.

We have an open door policy that allows all people to come here, vet and non-vet alike. I would guess the hope is to encourage the vets that we can help and cull out the others. Ain't a perfect world, but we do our best. That's all you can do. And whether someone thinks something is fair or not just depends on which side of the fence they're looking at it from.

Thanks for the replies and advice guys. I know I was quick on the trigger but the past weekend has left me a little "hypervigilant" lol. I will continue to hang my hat here, I love this forum and this place feels like family to me most days and I can't leave that. I thought about it and I am staying and sticking it out. Once again, thanks.
