You know, one benefit of getting older is, if you're real lucky, you get a bit wiser. When I was a kid, my father would tell me stuff and I thought he was an idiot and didn't know what he was talking about. For instance; he said don't waste you time arguing with a stupid person, you won't learn a thing. Then I thought, WHAT??????????????? Now I think, hmm, very wise. Damn, I hate when that happens. He wasn't an educated man, but he had street smarts.
I've learned to try, try to avoid and get away from the drama and stupidity that some people seem to project like and aura of shit around them. Hard at times, but a worthy endeavor.
