Yes, that is a MIL-SPEC Xbox One controller coupled with a mouse and keyboard controller so both the console gamers and the PC gamers are potential operators. (formerly the IRIS lazer system, now called LaWS)
The Phalanx systems, CIWS, CRAM and SeaRAM are all using or being converted to these controllers.
I actually took my wannabe army recruit son out hiking, gave him a double time 1 minute head start and then hunted him with nerf guns. Worked well, but next time it is paint balls. then frozen paint balls. Nothing like pain and PT to get the point home.Some type of e & e scenario, complete with some hardcore vet opfor, plus field expedient booby traps(non-lethal of course), would be fun..lol
