I started taking 150 mg extended release. I think I am super sensitive to meds. This one might actually be a good thing for me. I have more desire to be functional. Actually chose to go shoe shopping yesterday. Normally, I avoid it (used to love shopping) because of anxiety about the unpredictable world.

However, my pulse is elevated and my chest feels a mild pressure or heaviness that I am not used to. I think I need to try the 75. Is it worth it? $ wise? I cut my 150 in half today but later read that you shouldn't do that with extended release. My chest still has some feeling. Plan to go take my blood pressure later at the drugstore.

Anyone else with this experience?

If you cut an extended release in half, it lets out all the medicine at once, is my understanding, so you may have given yourself an overdose. Call your doc and see what they think. (((TexCat)))

I'm on that - one of the side effects can be high bp. I've had good luck with it sofar, been on it about 2 years. I'd try the pharmacy, have them go over the side effects with you

Yeah. Really just having a burping affect today, and can tell the med is acting different. However, despite the side effects, my mood is even better. Lol. So weird. Guess it's good my overdose affect was on less of a dose.

I don’t - according to drugs.com, there’s no interaction with calcium carbonate (tums); you can go there and search other interactions, if you are taking a more sophisticated antacid.

So, the new pills he sent are 75, but not extended release. I noticed this is cheaper, but I am wondering if more side effects happen with the regular non-xl type.

I will say that I got triggered this morning and when the anxiety shot up into my chest and I had a flashback, I was able to pull out of it easier. I think the med is doing what my t said and making it more manageable. I really think it is helping me function. It is like it is telling me I'm okay and can get through stuff. Strange.

New question: how high a dose do all of you take? My T prefers me to be on the small dose to "take the edge off" during emdr . My p-doc will probably try to put me on the full amount.
