Let‘s talk about pizza

Why? Because I am not feeling great and I thought: What would be the thing that cheered me up the most now. Well, going to a pizza place. Not going any time soon I guess... but I‘d love to talk about it. Think pizza in the US is great.

Papa Johns Supreme Pizza with out the olives though. Now I don't have the luxury of ordering that any longer since I'm out in the sticks but hands down Papa Johns is the best pizza to order in my opinion. However, now anytime I hear or read the word pizza I immediately think of pizza-gate.

Ahhh... no hugging... talk about pizza @Junebug... no just kidding. Hugging is fine.

You know, at the local pizza place they serve black currant apple juice... with free refills. That‘s so great. Love it.

In the city I used to live they had a Pizza Hut with all this Mexican stuff like quesadillas. Also great.

Have black currants in the garden but I never tried to make juice. Do you think it is possible?

Some days after therapy I hit a local place away from the population to sit outside for a beer and slice to think about things. I like it all, pepperoni, sausage, onion, bell pepper and lots of hot pepper flake. I like my slice a little overcooked to get a really crisp crust. mouth is watering now. Hey whos idea was this...

I have a friend who has a currant bush. She's made something that turned out to be juice. (Not sure that was the original plan.)

The best pizza I've ever had was at a place called "Leonardo's" in Gainesville, FL (USA). That town was my least favorite of all the places I've lived, but the pizza was awesome.

Man oh man oh man... do I miss pizza. I can’t eat cheese, anymore. It’s a sadness, because dayum is pizza good.

West Coast - (similar to flamekuche, or Roman pizza) Hand thrown, wood fired, olive oil base and all kinds of crazy toppings. Pagglicaci’s in Seattle was bliss.

MidWest - Chicago Deep Dish! Loooooove. Connie’s. OMFG. Such good pizza.

New York City - Super thin crust you have to fold over in order to eat it? Oh yeah. Bring it! Too many great places to list.

Anywhere in the country, Papa Johns is just damn good American style pizza.
