Back to my walking today. 90 minutes or a bit over. I don't want to walk any further... I am beginning to build a bit of muscle. I might just stay with this distance for now.:)
Great news!
I have an amazfitbip, which I bought for $89 online from Kogan. It has a 35 day battery life, so you don't have to charge every week, which is great. For me, who doesn't have a lot of money it really has been a great motivator, and a much cheaper version than a lot of the more expensive models available out there.
It monitors heartrate, sleep, weight, steps, distance walked, routes walked, time per kilometre, it also does outdoor running, cycling, and treadmill. You can see your exercise history. It also shows calories burnt, reminders to get up if you have sat for an hour, and it also has a GPS. I can also read my messages, see my phone calls, and alarms. I also can also see my status, set up my most often done exercises, and activities, and you can custom make your own activities. You can see the weather, on watch alarms, but also your own phone alarms, it has a timer, a compass. It has a settings section, where you can change your watch face, (you can also down load other watch faces), and has Alipay.
The app that comes with it is called Mi Fit, and I really like it, it builds on the above described options, and you can customise your activities, and in the behaviour section you can choose to track your activities throughout the day so you can be aware of how much movement and sitting that you do during your day. It doesn't do swimming, so if that is your thing, then this is not the smart watch for you.
Mi Fit has a number of options, on the front page you can customise what you see first, your sleep (deep, light, awake time, time slept), your activities (speed, time, distance, heartrate) , your exercise streaks, your heart rate, your weight, and your activities. There a battery charge monitor, activity goal, weight goal, friends, activity alerts, wake up notifications, and then a whole behaviour tagging screen to assist you in tracking all your activities, sitting, standing, walking, eating, teeth brushing, driving, bathing, climbing stairs, running, sitting, jump rope, cycling, transit, basket ball, badmington, ping-pong, bathing and custom making your own activities. I use the customise my own activities a lot, as I try to move more and keep track of my activities.
I was doing 10,000 steps a few days this week, but I am struggling with ill health these last three weeks, as I had minor shoulder surgery, gastro, a cold, sickness, dental surgery with more to come tomorrow, I have been in terrible pain these last three weeks, but I have been doing a little bit of exercise each day, but not today or yesterday, I was wiped out.
I am not affliated with amazfitbip or any company, the product just works for me.
