Hmmm, I would have said you'd hold your own against almost anyone? But it's just a way of speaking. : ). I've never known a couple that agreed on 'all things.'

When I first met my sufferer he abandoned me completely for 2 months. I thought he was just being an ass as part of the dating game. When we started talking again and I went to see him, I learned very quickly he had been a hermit that entire time. I talked to my therapist about what happened. She was very quick, because she is a trauma specialist, to realize what was actually going on.

That was the only time that happened. He and I worked on boundaries after that. This may be a time you need to think about setting boundaries, but don't bring them up until he is ready to come out. Boundaries aren't a punishment for him, they are a safety zone for you.
