has anyone ever flirted and or did run away from their current location due to the threat of harm coming after them? even as a precaution so to speak? If so was relocating beneficial? Also if you relocate how would you keep your new address safe?

There are organizations which can help you do that. Some act like underground railroads, hiding people and helping them create new identities. I shared on one forum ages ago and they suggested who to contact. I'm not on that forum any more so I wouldn't be able to tell you where/who those people are. Though you could find that through a shelter or such.

Yes. Absolutely. I am very sorry you are in this position.

Not really, unless I went to a different country. Which I did. Also I went to different provinces (Canada).
To a degree it was beneficial. My brain was still stuck on 'they are going to find me' though and that feeling trumped all logic. I am not certain if you are stuck in that mode, but if so, I highly recommend a therapist if you can.
Also if you relocate how would you keep your new address safe?
I used a PO Box for some time (one that had an address and a suite number). The problem with that was that it was illegal here in Ontario. I got away with it for some time but there was hell to pay when it came to putting my Health Benefits for the province back into place once they found out I wasn't using my real address.

Also, there is the option to use someone's else's address. Like, a friend. The problem with that for me though was that the people's whose addresses I used dealt with death threats to the family, arson threats, you name it.

So I think it all depends on what is going on with you. Can you describe a bit more what the issues are

Yes and yes, but it was not to paranoia.

I am super upfront with people I am with about that ongoing stalking problem. I hate sharing but figure it is very need to know in those cases, and I hate lies more than sharing so telling wins.
Whenever possible, I prefer to be and stay on the move without explaining, but been ages since I could.

Doing this as a precaution, when you have no reason to expect that you are under threat of harm, is not supportive of your mental health.

I would strongly suggest you get into some work with a therapist before you give this idea any more thought. From everything you've posted here, it's clear that you would benefit from real therapeutic support.

Are you open to this?

I'm currently seeing a therapist but am unsure how to breach this subject?

For one thing, dude has had your address for what? Over 2 years now? Your finding out recently he lives near you doesn’t change that he has done absolutely nothing in the 2 years he’s had it. It’s not like now that you know he’s more likely to seek you out than before you knew. Thinking that your knowing changes things? Puts you at more of a risk? Is magical thinking.

Thinking that you need to perform an action to make you safer from your own magical thinking?

Seriously, man... this is very solid OCD stuff. Not PTSD stuff.

Thanks for the response Friday, this individual is across the country from me but made another fake profile with his location selected to a locale by me, I believe this is a form of taunting/threat. Also he made this profile after I tried to tell others how malignant he was so he might have been spurned by that(I should have never said anything and just stayed deactivated but my own doubts and desire for resolution always come after me). Is this OCD or valid concerns?
