I've been having a bout with the same dream and each time it's accompanied by a giant orgasm. I literally mess myself every time. Has anyone else experienced this? Also, how do you come down from it and not feel distressed? I think the shame is the most toxic though I know it's not my fault. I feel uneasy about it and it's hard for me to move foreward. I'm stuck and obsessing over it. I feel numb.

hi frogthroat,

I do not know much about you or your life except the little bit you post here and there but I love dreams and can most times interpret them correctly.

If I remembered some of your issues correctly, I think this particular dream has orgasm - which most people associate with good times, living, passion, just delicious right...but for you it is maybe a painful experience because you are not happy to have this dream.

It is almost if your dream is telling you, you are having messy life, the same thing over and over....you are not letting go things unless they "explode" and create a mess. I feel your dreams are really great and trying to warn you because it is repetitious.

Like I said, without knowing your life, it is hard to know what your dream represent but your explanation is quite rich too. Even the words you chooose to describe are powerful.

Can you share this with your therapist and see what you may come up together? Do you write down your dreams and try to see a pattern?

So, I'm wondering. After the orgasm; do you feel shame about that? Maybe that's what the dream is expressing in conflict? How could I have an orgasm, which is a physiological response, like a sneeze, you know? Also, some people will say, I like the attention, being held, or whatever, but hated the event?
