Good grief. I've been dealing with a LOT of physical pain for a long time and I finally figured out what it is. A few years back I was diagnosed at an Urgent Care with costochondritis. It's an inflammation of the cartilage connecting the rib to the sternum and it's VERY painful. None of my regular doctors have ever suggested that my main was from the costo, and so I guess I never really thought about it. But...the symptoms/pain are identical to what I'm experiencing. Sore rib cage, chest pain which sometimes radiates down both arms, mid-back pain, pain whenever I do anything that involves my chest muscles. Others, but these are the main ones.
Knowing doesn't take away the pain, but it sure does make me feel better emotionally. Lots of people on one of the forums I found have had the exact same problems I've had and doctors who don't understand anything about it. Now...to find one that does.
