I've ordered a jar of vegemite :)

Which Olympic stars of yesteryear if any help present / are pundits on TV when the Olympics are on in your country? There's lots of different events I realise, but any the are notable for you?

One of my real favourites for Athletics is the American Michael Johnson, I really admire him and enjoy hearing what be has to say and it got me wondering if he also works at this kind of thing in the US or if another star does that job there.

Some of our swimmers get to do the commentator thing. It's good bc what else are they gonna do?

Vegemite is not as strong as marmite. I like both but I don’t love either. I have to be in the right mood. It’s funny, I sometimes get real cravings for it but then go years without eating it.

Do you know what to expect? It’s like yeast extract flakes, but super concentrated, so it’s deeply savoury.

I quite like it spread very thinly under a layer of peanut butter for a savoury toast breakfast. My husband says he has never seen anything as disgusting as me ‘needing ‘ something more savoury than an egg for breakfast so having it on toast spread with vegemite or marmite. ?.

I've had Marmite and gotten to like it spread thin, so I guess I kinda do, will see soon enough anyway :D

Lol I used to feel that way about Marmite too. We have a saying, it's like Marmite, love it or hate it.

Oh if you like marmite you’ll like vegemite! ?. Its just a little ... less harsh.

But, I think you will find that if you look properly you will find that NZ charges 15% for gst and Australia charges 10% - that's just one example.

I can swear on a stack of bibles I've never seen an off jar of Vegemite and it's not bc it got eaten before it went off. I just don't think they go off - ever. Not sure whether that's a good thing or not?? Not sure what that says about Vegemite lol?

^ I was demonstrating just one difference between NZ and Aus in terms of living expenses. 5% additional gst is big when applied to almost everything you buy. :/

Unlike Vegemite- where there is only one flavour - and that is awesome!

Marmalade has heaps, lemon, orange, lime, breakfast - whatever. It's jam! I make it. :)
