A time for everything, right?

I've been processing stuff almost non-stop for about a month. I just restarted therapy about 3 weeks ago. I've got an appointment in about an hour from now.

But I'm currently all processed out. It's almost like writer's block. I've simply hit a wall. I just want to not think about stuff for a while. I just want to nurse my cold and pretend for a couple days that I'm normal and not afflicted by C-PTSD.

I plan to tell my therapist this past week was a wash. I didn't do my homework. Between Thanksgiving, being hyper-aroused 3 days straight, then coming down with a head cold, diaphagmatic breathing was just not high on my priority list.

That's all. Nothing profound here. Just a day in the life of a fellow sufferer.

Maybe I'll process more next week.

We'll see.

Gotta give ourselves a break sometimes. Especially when we don't feel good physically. All I can concentrate on is one thing at a time. Cold=priorty Processing, pbftttt , later man!!!

Hope you feel better soon. Take care of yourself.

Thanks. Yes, the cold makes it easier to distract from my usual misery. Lol.

One thing at a time indeed!

Thank you,

yep

Sometimes we just need to back off of the tough stuff and talk about random, low stress stuff.
It always helps me reconnect with the real world outside of my head.

But I'm currently all processed out.
It happens. Our brains aren't usually all that excited about processing, processing, and more processing. Mine takes a vacation without my consent after very much of that. And having a cold is a great excuse to take a vacation, anyway. 🐳

Yup. I'm just taking it easy, nursing my cold. Processing can process another day. I'm on vacay! 🥳

Oh! BTW, lol at me. 🤣 It's SUNDAY. Ooops! Sometimes I lose track of time. That ever happen to you? Days just disappear. Or at least I don't pay attention to what day it is as much since they are all the same to me. Anyhooo, my therapy appointment is tomorrow. How funny.

I bet my therapist will get a good chuckle out of this.

One of the most useful sessions I had with my T was when I went into a session to tell my T enough is a enough. Sometimes you have to take a step back. Perfect something before moving on like getting physically healthy.
