Have you been diagnosed with something else? have you seen anyone about the symptoms? Sounds like maybe you should.

I’m glad you’re in a better place.
I haven't had any luck with therapists over the past couple of years, they're either all booked up or won't respond in an affirmative manner to emails. I wish people would stop telling others that they should see therapists, thats not the only way to deal with mental health problems. People often just want someone to vent to, where therapists have whole system in place to fix problems that they themselves don't understand. Another reason why I'm not interested is that a lot of therapist basically just say you need medication, none of the medications I've taken from a psychiatrist have been that helpful.

I’m sorry that’s been your experience. My therapist answered all the questions I had before I started and hasn’t recommended any drugs. He diagnosed me with PTSD but I also had been diagnosed 20 years before.

Do you have a regular doctor you trust? That was actually what I had in mind. I’ve seen my regular doctor since I was 12 so 31 years so I trust him to help.

Hopefully something works out for you.

Doctors aren't as knowledgeable as they appear either much of the time...I have "a doctor" but he's just a name on my insurance and normally I'm talking to a nurse.
