kinda surprised Lion King hasn't been mentioned yet
Oh, I absolutely love Lion King! I haven't watched the sequel though, so that's useful to know that it was decent. Will have to have a watch.
Thanks for such a thorough list. There'll be things in there for me to enjoy for sure. I like the sound of A Whisker Away - haven't heard of that before so will look it up.

If you like fantastic animation and a heart warming story, Studio Ghibli is the first place I look, top of the list would My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service and Ponyo. Anything by Hayao Miyazaki really, he's up there with the man Walt Disney himself. If your looking for something more western I highly highly recommend The Book of Kells, which is in my opinion one of the best films out there.

I adore "The Secret Life of Arrietty," it's about little people who hide in the walls but a Japanese made film, english language with some notable American actors. The animation is really beautifully done, but it's my "self-care" anti-anxiety, cozy movie. It has a such a soothing sound. I think you can buy it on youtube, it's on HBO streaming, can also buy it on Amazon video. I highly recommend!

I also enjoy watching the short cartoon "Bluey" I know it's for very young kids, but it's such an UPBEAT cartoon, full of family love with a good mom and dad, and I just sometimes need that fantasy! Also, I love the Australian accents--
