The only thing you would need to be concerned about is
serotonin syndrome, but using low doses of both should mitigate that issue. I had serotonin syndrome using kratom and dextromethorphan as I forgot that kratom also acts on serotonin receptors. For me I experienced it as tremors, shaking, and psychomotor agitation. If you start to experience those symptoms, discontinue using marijuana.
Like others have said, PTSD and marijuana usage is a crack shot. I cannot use marijuana at all, in any capacity, because I get extreme derealization and depersonalization and it worsens my psychotic symptoms and I get delusional. Some people find it is the only thing that gives them
any form of relief. The only way you will know for sure is to try it.
My recommendation would be to get a spray or an edible that way you can monitor the exact amount you are consuming, and start with 2-5mg and see how that affects you. (With edibles, they can sometimes take up to 2+ hours to kick in, so don't start eating more if you don't feel the effects soon.) Having experience with getting myself thru bad trips, if you experience those effects, do your best to remind yourself that this state is transient and it will eventually end.
Me, I can smoke a joint and end up f*cked for six+ hours even if the marijuana effects only last 20 minutes. It kicks off my actual mental illness and that persists until eventually all of the MJ is out of my system. But it
does end && you won't feel like that forever. Best to use for the first time in a situation where you feel safe and you are around someone you trust not to freak out if something goes sideways.
