My Dream House Has…

- A greenhouse on the roof
- A swimming pool & stable out back
- An Italian wood-fired dome oven in a ginormous brick walled kitchen
- A Japanese bathhouse
- A gymnasium & art studio
- A pub room with pool table
- Guest rooms
- Fairy Lights & fire pit & picnic table in the garden
- Cats / Dogs / Kids Underfoot
- Secret Passageways throughout

I haven’t been able to want much, and forgeddabout working towards much of anything, the past couple few years. Illness & Injury & PTSD, oh my! have kept things in survival-mode for far too long. But whether I don’t make it to tomorrow or live another 40 years? It’s fun to have my desires turned back on. Even if just for a little while. A place to live. A place to come back to.

So how about you? Gotta dream house to imagine with me?

A tiny house (really).
With 5 acres, 2 horses, a dog, a hot tub (even outside), an easel and paints, a washer & dryer, a raised porch or an elevated atrium balcony, wi-fi water and electricity & heat lol, cozy duvets, within distance to a beach or rock.
But modern furniture lol.

Big open main room, at least 2 guest rooms, big media room, a hidden door to a library with a spiral staircase, indoor dog kennel and play room complete with dog shampoo station, big mud room for said dogs, huge stone fireplace, comfy furniture, big kitchen, master bedroom with fireplace and spa bath, amazing deck with hot tub and stairs going right down to the beach (oh ya, did I mention beachfront LOL), fire pit with lots of comfy chairs and a big yard complete with someone else to take care of it!

- decks surrounding the whole place
- an orchard, greenhouses
- recessed fire pit with big comfy swinging chairs
- secret fully stocked (10+ yrs) underground bunker for the zombpocalypse/yellowstone/emp/surprise unwanted visitors, with room for all the critters, hydroponics, and tech walls that make it look like you're outside
- all of the halloween decorations... all. of. them... to turn my kingdom into Halloween Town from Sept - Nov every year

I like where I live, but I wish I had:
Robot staff! To clean and organize!
A bigger garden with more sun hours.
An orchard while we’re on the subject.
The orchard would be mixed species, basically a food forest.
The house would have nice sustainable furniture and lots of giant mineral specimens, like a huge rose quartz bathtub, and an enormous marble table.
A cellar for storing canned food and wine
A robot kitchen assistant
Robot gardener
The walls would be painted with harmonious colors to fit the mood of each room
A jacuzzi bath which had a robot to keep it super squeaky clean
A huge flower garden with a maze or labyrinth
Fresh flowers every day in every room arranged by my robot gardener/florist
A bathroom with like a hundred candles and a chandelier with candles—this is where the rose quartz tub would be, and my robot servant would clean all the wax drippings.

Outlying rooms are a large aerial gym and dance studio with 2 mirrored walls.

Lots of skylights and a claw-foot tub.

No neighbors for acres.

Fields and forests of my own to roam.

A bedroom, room for a bed, drawers, and plenty wardrobe space.
A storage room
A lounge, room for a sofa & arm chair, a desk & tv table, or even maybe a small office to keep computer in.
An art room, would love if it was a garden room, with large windows / door. North facing for the right light.
A bathroom with a large tub,
A kitchen with enough cupboards for an adult with a fair bit of kitchen stuff.
Small to medium low care garden, with herbs, flowers and a tree, conference pear tree, and other trees viewable from the property.

But the main thing, it would be secure, no more worrying about where I'm gonna live. That would be #$%^ing fantastic

A room that has a giant bed as the floor/built into the floor.
A secret library in the centre of the house with a secret entrance, a 20’ ceiling, large skylights, floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, a rolling library ladder, and a deep sectional that eats you when you sit on it, and lots of pillows and blankets.
Warm climate and far enough away from others that I could have/express emotions without concern that someone else might hear and thus ask what’s going on.
Cozy beds for my dogs.
Protected deck with hot tub and pretty lights.
Many swinging chairs and indoor hammocks.
Spacious, light, and easy-to-clean kitchen.
Gym room.
Bathtub.

A dream husband and two dream kids. That somehow I find happiness with Instead of the terror that accompanies even the thought of a relationship
small yard big enough to let small dogs run free
a window seat that looks out to the mountains to the west were the sun sets in beautiful pinks and purples
a kitchen to store all my gadgets with a big island where two kids and a husband enjoy helping me make yummy food.
a living room big enough for friends but cozy enough for family
a live in house keeper

f*ck yeah!! I'm having some of this.

My dream house has at least 5-6 double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. A super large kitchen with an island and dining room, big enough for parties. A bbq in the garden. A swimming pool with a long lane for doing lengths and a tennis court. Outdoor seating and its lavish with plants and a pond (large)!! A fully functioning DIY workshed and a fully equipped outbuilding "Music Studio".

Animals...horses and donkeys and sheep and cows and chickens and anything else, did I mention Lamas??
A garage with a couple of luxurious cars and motorcycles. At least 5-10 acres of land. And a gym!!

- Steel frame, cement floor industrial style construction, so if you want to change things - go for it AND you can cover it with windows. (with variable LCD shades)
-Double everything kitchen with premium appliances and walk in cooler.
-Per room design.
-basement - underground parking garage.
-Atrium with ponds/stream and fish (tropical theme). Great way to naturally fertilize too. Water change system to recover/store pond/stream water when changed. When the fish waste is broken down it provides tons of bio available nitrogen and carbon that plants love.
-Greenhouse
-Guest house
-Pool, swim spa, hot tubs....
-huge 2nd floor master suite, shower (all sides whole body, room for everyone) pair of soaker tubs - with a view.
-Rooftop patio, above the master suite. Hot tub, barbecue, sun shade.
- As the French call it a folly. (big fancy outbuilding) For poker games, Christmas for the families, and Golf Simulator/practice green/home theatre.
