Undiagnosed Recovering from bizarre escapade

Your historical topic is most likely the playbook
Yeah I figured it was a more sophisticated version of that. Canada goes pretty hard on the "anti-egoistic" kind of shit-eating egalitarianism - don't be a tall poppy, don't be ambitious, just keep your head down and suck the man's dick. Pathetic. No wonder we're so poor - all the talented people flee or get front-loaded into a Turkish bombard and blasted into a wall. They pre-emptively filter out people who are too independent and clear-sighted.

In your case though I meant more concretely, what are they doing to you?

So many people are blind to realities of this world. I used to be, until I laughed with someone about a problem, he took it to be me laughing at him, he believed lies of jealous people. Asked questions that gave the answer he wanted rather than the truth then went on a campaign to ruin me and my life. Decided i had done things i would never do, then set about making it a reality for others. His problem, his mental health, everything and anything revolved around him. A shame he was a criminal with money and lackeys, or I wouldn't be where I am.

Shame so many people are blind to how pain and trauma affect people at a young age, abusers and more, those that commit the acts that give people ptsd. They're basing decisions, attitudes, and behaviours of others on themselves, what they're capable of. If they can do it, others can. They're the ones that need treatment.

As i see it Some know what they're doing, they enjoy it, get off on it. Others might class themselves as social warriors, but if you intentionally and deliberately do or involved with these acts, any that anyone on here describes and more, then you're the problem.

I’m also in Canada with similar history. West coast. Where are you Jeremiah?
Uh well I won't give an exact location obviously but I will say "the lower mainland". Apparently mental health services here are widely regarded as being outdated and parochial by global standards.

What is your issue exactly? Looks like you just joined this forum yesterday.

I’m just trying to put some pieces together. BC and Washington State. Trying to find others who may have some answers.

Oh hey, sorry I abandoned this - any more info, or anything to add?

Hey everyone, jumping in here with a warm welcome to the forum—it's great to see folks connecting and sharing like this. Jeremiah, sounds like you've been through a wild ride with some seriously tough stuff thrown your way, and it takes real guts to lay it out and start piecing things together. That kind of clarity and openness? Admirable.

To the west coaster chiming in too—yeah, mental health support can feel stuck in the past sometimes, especially around here on the Lower Mainland. Hang in there; reaching out like this is a solid step.

Wishing you all some brighter days ahead, good coffee, and maybe a laugh or two along the way. 😊
