Hubby now has a bad finger cos he would not take notice when our cat told him to stop pestering her Serves him right, he does know she will take so much then out come the claws. :roflmao: Though this is not the first time she has got him down the side of his finger nail. :rolleyes:

:roflmao: has to be hubby KP, he knows she will be with him through everything.

She tells me when he is ill before he can sometimes, and has sat with him for hours when he was on a different planet.

She plays with him and plagues him too, but he does know how far to go, but will insist on pushing her too far sometimes.

Forrest they are both so adorable. I'm in a bad place tonight and my dogs will sleep with me and comfort me should the demons appear. It is so hard when you lose a family member but they are always with us and one day we will all be united.

I like the kind of thread that takes us away from the PTSD topic. I love the way animals can give unconditional love and they are so smart.

We have an almost 14 year old golden retriever and she takes her "job" of making sure the kids get on the school bus in the morning very serious. This year our daughters ride separate buses because our oldest moved onto middle school. She senses when each bus is coming in the morning and makes sure everyone makes it out the door. She was a little confused the first day of school when our youngest daughter didn't get on the bus with our oldest. She watched the oldest get on the bus and then came in the house and barked at the little one for missing the bus. :) By the third day she had everyones schedule figured out.:D
