In my opinion it would be that most issues are created by others controlling us. I have a new rule, no one gets to tell me what I have to accept! Will see how far this gets me but worth a try!Why does someone need to be in more in control of a situation?

Since when does hypervigilence mean you are in control more? And saying the opposite of that is being out of control is a false dichotomy that accepts first and foremost the statement that PTSD, and by extension hypervigilence, does by default grant one more control.Perhaps if you were more in control someone coming into your blind spot wouldn't trigger you in that way.
