If You Could Change / Want One Thing On The Forum?

Personally speaking: the "previous names" tab removed (since some (lots?) of us choose our real name or part of it first and then change it later, I think it would be good to have the old one out for good).

In generall, maybe some drop-down menu instead of the "like"-button with a choice of things you would like the poster to receive, e.g. "like", "hugs", "comfort", "compassion", or so.

And gizmo said it: thank you for the forum and all the work you put in, Anthony and Nicolette. It is highly appreciated as is.

I was wondering if it could be possible for sufferers to question supporters so they can get an appreciation of the 'other side'. I know there is the supporter area and a ptsd and relationships thread but I'm al little confused as to where I'd post. Also this is especially in respect of men supporting women and women supporting men.

I do not believe this is possible. It is a system that links the posts to the user. If the name were removed it would throw the posts to cyberspace. Assuming this is not what you want. I feel we are all safe in here. You can set your preferences so only members can read, not drive by guests or potential unsafe people. It is very clearly stated in the rules of the forum. I re-read them occasionally just to refresh my brain. Hope this eases your mind a bit. Hugs if you accept them, Whitney

I relate with you on this. It is so brain twisting to "like" a horrible experience one has gone through! I have resolved in my mind that yes I like that they are able to post and empty their cup; so to speak!

I like Springers idea of a cross over thread, and the emoticons idea too...nice!

I think a thread for physical symptoms of stress would be good. You have a great post on this but I had to ask for a link to find it. Which leads me to the 'one' improvent suggestion ......

...search function improvement....can this be improved with most recent thread, and popular thread idicators....or attach key words to thread posts for easy searching - dunno, just an approved search function would be nice....I feel I annoy people because I can't find stuff easily in search....
