I have always been embarassed about anything relating to sex and contraception, but I will work on it. However, I am so glad I put this thread up. I had googled Cerazette (naturally) and found no positive stories about Cerazette. I suppose people don't normally post about how great something is, they normally post when they are getting awful side effects and looking for advice and support.
I spoke with a female doctor and she gave me a list of options, I voiced my concerns about my already low mood also. I am always scared to take any medications. In the end I am taking it, and hoping that if I get acne I can handle it and if I put on weight I can handle it too. If my depression gets unbearable, to tell someone. I had to think long and hard about it, but I know I can switch to something else if this does not agree with my body. Hopefully I will love it like you Lucycat!
I wonder what it will feel like one day to take absolutely no tablets every day and just have normal mood swings. I have no idea what I would be like.
Thank you to everyone for posting, it is really helpful.

I really do not want to be this depressed and pregnant. I can see myself having a child one day, but only when I am well enough to give a child the best life I could offer.I think it's inevitable that something that affects hormones will affect mood. It's hard to weigh up two different concerns - depression and pregnancy - when both are so important to consider.
