We are so excited to announce the members of the first 21 Day Challenge want to keep going.

And encourage New participants!

Eleanor will take the lead and Whitney will assist. We will be using both a private conversation and this open thread.

For those interested in joining the Private Conversation please let us know as soon as possible. Our start date will be May 7. Invitations will be sent via Personal Conversation or Inbox!

Remember it is a Self-Challenge not a contest. The Team work has been proven to be a very positive experience for all.

1. Write down three new things you are grateful for each day.
2. Journal about a positive experience experience in the last 24 hours.
3. Exercise
4. Meditation
5. A random act of kindness.

The above are the basics, those who are continuing will be strengthening our efforts and adding on.

We share and encourage through the ups and downs. Teamwork is awesome!
 
Suggestions: Journaling may be done here, a private diary or wherever one is comfortable.

A daily check in either in the private conversation or this open thread. Which reinforces the steps of the challenge for each individual.

Remember this is each persons challenge, we are all trying something new! I wish everyone an outstanding journey.
 
I'm continuing all through the days until the 7th and beyond. I don't want to lose my momentum. Somehow, to stop for even a day would seem very unhelpful to me.

And I do want to be part of the Private Message and the whole for the 7th of May, thanks.

To all of you who are thinking of joining, I did all 21 days and loved it. It has been such a helpful and positive experience. I did much of my journaling in my journal, not even always posting about all 5 of my steps anywhere here on the Forum. I picked the high point of my day and wrote about it here though. As long as I thanked God for what I am grateful for, and did all the other steps faithfully, I felt it unnecessary to journal here as well as in my journal too. And with my failing memory as it is, not journaling at home first would have left me with only half a memory of what I'd done by the end of the day! LOL...

Some points I brought up in the previous 21 days that I think are important: It is important to exercise one's brain too, especially for the older crowd. I do this by playing Scrabble, one game against myself each day (I live alone). Other options for this are crosswords, reading novels and my Dr. said that walking helps memory too. And exercising one's jaw by eating a lot or talking a lot does NOT count ;) .

So anyway, I'm IN!

Froggie, Yay! We can do our journaling here or in any place each chooses. Everyone has been checking in daily either on this thread or the private conversation.

We have a lot of fun sharing our daily achievement. What you choose to share or how detailed, is your choice.

Some are shy and stay more in the private conversation. The daily follow up keeps our mind absorbing. The brain works on 21 days to process and change to new thinking. Replacing negative thought with positive experience. So awesome to have you.
