I suppose I forgot my birth family, but they have chosen to remain so far out of my life, refusing to come visit me, knowing that I don't have the funds to go visit them (nor have they invited me) that I suppose they are no longer important to me as they once were.

Birthdays are so special as we get lots of gifts and wishes from our friends and our family members. I have a small friend circle and all of them are very close to me and they are important to me.

To keep a smile on their face I usually send greetings to India on their birthdays and on some special occasions. One special thing I do is, I use their pictures on cards and send them using "Post My Greetings" gifting portal. This website is so good and I really liked their customization feature.

Neil Diamond, My Family, My Art, Queso, Sleep, Meds, Therapy....oh I don't have time for this. But those are the most pertinent.

I am afraid to have important things. It just means that someone can take it away from me. God was important until someone stole that away. It's not safe to have important things anymore.

One thing that comes to my mind when I read this is : That it wasn't your fault, you are not guilty nor the cause of what the other person did. That IS important - it wasn't your fault.

Freedom - to be who I am and to express myself.
My family.
My pet budgerigar.
Nature.
My health.
Having enough money to pay the bills.
Self acceptance.
Friendship.
World affairs.

Important things include:

Occasional treats.
Space.
Alone time.

Not important:

Being wealthy (though I wouldn't say no).
Fashion (I have my own style).
Fitting in and convention.
Gossip.
