General How Well Do You Sleep, As A Supporter

I have slept well these last few nights, mainly because hubby has had his essential oil blend on to help him sleep. I can smell it on it so it helps me sleep too.
 
This is the blend I use for hubby SweetLullaby.

I found this when researching nearly 2 years ago, looking for some alternatives to the strong medication he had been prescribed for the really bad times. It was in a really good book that has hundreds of different blends for all sorts of illnesses.

You will need a 50ml bottle of carrier, a bottle each of Lavender, Geranium and Palma Rosa essential oils.

To the carrier oil add 10 drops of each of the 3 oils, put the lid back on the bottle and twist and roll it until it is all blended together. It may take a while but please do not be tempted to shake it as this could cause pockets of essential oil to form in the bubbles. when it is all blended together, keep it in a cool dark place until needed.

Massage about a teaspoon full into shoulders and back, then just lie back and fall asleep.

Thank you very much, amethyst. What is the carrier oil like? Is it a natural oil?... I'd like to ask you, if you would let me know the book title and the name of the author. I would so much appreciate it.
 
The carrier oil I use is sweet almond oil. Its one of the many carriers you can use to dilute the essential oils in for use.

The book is the Fragrant Pharmacy by Valerie Ann Wormwood. She also wrote The Fragrant Mind too, which I also have and use.
 
I slept better last night than I have since Friday, even though it was very warm. Maybe the essential oil helped.
 
I sleep better when shes not there in honesty, due to me not searching for her when I'm a sleep. What we used to do is have some sort of physical contact, like our feet touching, or my head resting on her, or her cuddling up to me.

So subconsciously I am looking for that when she is there, and for a while when I used to touch her feet she would pull away, but recently I have noticed it hasn't been too bad sometimes, she does pull away and sometimes she doesn't.

She seems to want to cuddle up to me but uses a blanket as physical barrier to prevent our bodies touching...

So basically I struggle sometimes due to missing the physical closeness
 
Only got four hours of sleep: I'm definitely tired this morning. I'm anxious, nervous and agitated after hearing last night that my soon to be three year old grand-daughter's birthday party has grown from having sixteen, to thirty-three, to seventy-six invitees! The party is in a few weeks and now I don't want to go and not sure how I'm going to handle it :-o
 
Off the meds since December after 25 years and sleep habits just like when I was 29. Dawn to 11. ("Safe time"!) But at least I can sleep. Most of the time anyway.
