Life Is Too Short To Have To Deal With Nasty People

I am a college football fan, and my favorite team, Auburn, is bitter rivals with Alabama. Not all, but many of the bama fans are just obnoxious mean and nasty. They really take the fun out of college rivalries. I had one as a friend on facebook, and today he just crossed the line. I decided I put up with enough nasty people in my life without dealing with him now, so I found this marvelous button on facebook that let me unfriend him.

I just decided that life is too short to deal with that kind of garbage, so I tuned him out, turned him off, sent him packing, however you want to put it, but I am not taking it any more. it felt so good I may have to unfriend a few more like him.

Yeah, you don't need that kind of negativity and I have very little tolerance for nastiness or poor sportsmanship. As much as I love college football, it is a game!

I've been amused by the trash talk from our rivals. To see my FB newsfeed littered with bragging from FSU fans because they beat Florida. I love my Gators but have you seen their injury list or watched them play this year? Beating them this season isn't exactly something to brag about. I'm able to just roll my eyes and let them have their moment of enjoyment since they don't get it very often. ;)

You mean there are nice football fans? I know allot of football fans turn into nice people after the game, but during the game you will find me under the bed with the dogs and cats.

Seriously...

I am even approaching the ability to resist letting myself be reduced to name-calling. "Not for me, thank you" is all the further I need to let these incompatibilities weigh me down. Like you said, life is entirely too short and it is an amazing world we live in.

You are so right. When I finally was diagnosed nearly half my friends on Facebook "Unfriended" me and branded me "mental". It bothered me until a fellow Christian pointed out that I in fact gained more real friends in theprocess. Have a good facebook gardening time RUSS and "weed out the rubbish"

Good on you

Yes, this applies to all nasty people. Let me tell you something, I made a lot of progress with my symptoms, which were completely disabling, by elimInating all pieces of crap, including stupid crap people, out of my life. And man, there are billions of boatload of these zombIes. Literally, crappy people attack like hoards of zombies. Like dawn of the dead,

Really, I think that getting rid of all verified, bona fide piece of excrement is a requirement for recovery.

I don't get the people that have to be nasty angry people over football. I really love football myself but its entertainment and some people do completely take out all the fun in it. Trash talk and all that is great but some people get way too carried away with it.

Congratulations on broadcasting your desire to draw more decent, humans into your world by this decision. Once I made the same decision and eliminated all the shit, things got a LOT better.

Ditto for the whiners, those that love to argue, the users, and the slurpy mouthed fakers. I have only two friends  Oh, my, what will I do???? I'm so much better off now than I was and know that eventually my friend circle will grow larger and better - much better than it formally was. ;)

What is really sad and pathetic is how crazy people drive during the Christmas shopping season. My dentist told me two women tazered each other over one lousy toaster oven. I will be so glad when Christmas is finally over and people calm down.

In Medical terms the only way to "De-bride" a wound is to clean out all the sh*t and once cleansed the fresh "Clean" new tissue will form. Ergo - clear out all the Non-Friends and all the Real friends will remain to pick you up. xx
