I bought some Christmas candy to put in my mom's "stash" dish. It's a glass candy bowl with a lid. She use to tell my son's that her "stash" was in there and they were allowed to pick one thing out. We inherited it when she died. It is a happy memory.

Christmas is a great time for remembering good memories, and making new ones.

This isn't a look forward to, but look back at with fond memories: Nine years ago christmas eve morning my wife and I went on a one-horse open sleigh ride through the woods. It was wonderful, beautiful, and awfully cold 10 degrees f (-12.22 c).

I just visited my daughter's place. She and her boyfriend have their tree up and decorated with a little village beside it. They really get a kick out of Christmas. They have already opened most of their gifts to each other because they just couldn't wait. They are so cute. :p

Took a huge hit last night, so I am truly at a loss as to why I am looking forward to Christmas. The hit I took was posted though, I know it doesn't count, but I'm not giving up....I'm just giving in.

I love the Christmas music, and I love shopping for the perfect gifts for my kids. I love the break from getting the kids off to school.
