Cold, but not as cold as it is suppose to get with wind chills around negative 35 Fahrenheit wind chill. Everyone is hunkering down, the grocery store's produce and meat department were really picked over yesterday when we went. Schools are closed for tomorrow in preparation for the cold weather. Now to see if the weathermen were right.

Hot and sunny.

VERY cold with the cold expected to be the lowest in decades.

Right now it's 5 F (-15 C) and expected to drop to -10 F ( -23 C). Wind chill may hit -30 F (-34 C)

On the TV news they just poured water on a T-shirt and it froze solid in 2 minutes. And the cold froze a banana so hard they used it to drive a nail into a piece of wood.

They said it's colder here than on Mars! OMG now the Martians will be coming HERE to get warm!

-16 with a windchill of a -41. I have to go out in this. Not looking forward to it at all.

Under a flash freeze and windchill warning, from Environment Canada, and the local board of health has issued a severe cold alert, as the windchill is suppose to reach -30s C to -40s C, today. Have cancelled plans for my art therapy session, for today.

-15F with -45F wind chill. Sunny though!

It was a balmy 52 degrees this morning. Now it is going to -25 degrees with the wind chill tonight. At least all the rain washed the eight inches of snow and ice mostly away. I'm holding out hope for the first day of spring. It's a long way away.

Woke up to a thunderstorm, strong wind and lashing rain. Another welly boot day. I would really like to hibernate.
