I believe Invisible Sun's posting is for entertainment purposes only. As someone that is in recovery, working to heal from complex PTSD I have become quite knowledgeable about the DISORDER. When someone that does not have PTSD makes a blanket statement that "PTSD is the most misunderstood psychiatric illness in all of mental health" it not only infuriates but its incorrect and beyond offensive. The entire post is egocentric and not written from someone that has PTSD but appears to have a disorder of another kind.

Some people have to be right all the time. An apology is not an apology with a 'but' in it, ever. Let it go, relax, put your feet up.

That is just f*cking disgusting.

You most likely suffer from depression and anxiety, not PTSD. There is help for that. There is no need to validate your problems with the stamp "PTSD" when depression and anxiety ruined many people lives all by itself. These are severe issues. My partner suffered from them for most of his live, so I sympathize. He is a happy and content person now. Help is available. Please try to find it.

I'm definitely mildly depressed...for some reason I can't let go of the past...the good times spent with her and what we were "supposed to be". I'm not happy very often, I have a bleak outlook and nothing to get excited for or look forward to. My life is routine...friends are always busy with their families.

I have to stop living vicariously through her new life. I keep wondering what her and her family are doing, how they are coping, etc.

I am feeling better than a month ago, but I still have bad days where I feel down.
