My sister is a reiki master @KwanYingirl and some days when she tries her healing on me it can help. Sometimes it doesn't. Meditation can help too. I just wish I wasn't aware of it. It's like trying to forget I have PTSD. . .but it only turns out to be the pink elephant in the room! Nightmare! lol
You sound like you have been going through hell yourself. Well done though, honestly I take my hat off to you for how well you have been coping!
I agree with you though, I can't help feel it's a complete mind set. The mind somehow over the trauma has been re-programmed into being super, highly alert and seems to think a thought is trouble, our shadow is danger in itself. . . and BOOM the adrenaline rush happens and the body just goes into this frantic and frenzied state!
So stressful! I just can't remember a time when this never plagued me. Has it always been with us? Were we just not complaining enough about it back then? lol I can't help wonder!
